Priorities of the EU’s next long-term budget defined
Brussels, May 7 (Hibya) – The European Parliament has defined the priorities of the European Union’s (EU) next long-term budget.
A statement from the Parliament said that the priorities for the EU’s next long-term budget have been determined.
The statement noted that members agreed on priorities, investment areas, and the potential structure of the next long-term budget.
In the text adopted with 317 votes in favor, 206 against, and 123 abstentions, Members of the European Parliament called for a significantly more ambitious multiannual financial framework that can meet the growing expectations of EU citizens amid global instability.
