Kallas: We want strong transatlantic ties
Brussels, 28 January (Hibya) – EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas said they want strong transatlantic ties and that the time has come for Europe to act urgently.
Kallas stated that while they want strong transatlantic ties, Europe must adapt to new realities.
Noting that Washington is no longer the primary center of gravity, Kallas said it is time for Europe to move urgently.
Kallas said: “We must strengthen our tools, end fragmentation, close the gaps between us, and join forces with our partners.”
