Katz: The disarmament of Gaza is our most important strategic goal
Jerusalem, October 25 (Hibya) – Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated that the destruction of tunnels belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Movement and the disarmament of the Gaza Strip are fundamental objectives for achieving victory.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz emphasized that the disarmament of Hamas and the complete elimination of terrorist tunnels are the top strategic priorities to secure victory in Gaza.
Katz said, “Our most urgent moral duty is to ensure that all kidnapped individuals and their loved ones return home. We will do everything in our power to fulfill this sacred mission.”
He added that he had instructed the Israel Defense Forces to treat the destruction of tunnels in Gaza as a central mission and noted that during discussions with U.S. officials, the disarmament of the Palestinian Islamic Movement and the complete elimination of remaining tunnels in the region were also addressed.
