Sybiha issued a message of gratitude on the occasion of Federal Minister of Economy and Energy Katherina Reiche’s visit to Ukraine. He said that thanks to Germany’s consistent energy assistance and its contribution to the Energy Support Fund, his country has made it through three winters.

He added that during her visit, Minister Reiche announced an additional allocation of €30 million to the fund. “The general sentiment is this: we will survive the fourth winter as well, because we are strong together,” Sybiha said.

He also thanked Germany for its solidarity aimed at deepening cooperation in the defense industry, adding: “It is important for leading politicians to spend a few days in Ukraine. It takes courage, but it is the only way to truly understand what is at stake.”
