Sybiha: Increasing sanctions pressure is of vital importance
Kyiv, October 25 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha highlighted the new sanctions imposed by the United States (US) and the European Union (EU) on Russia’s energy sector, emphasizing the importance of maintaining sanctions pressure.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha reviewed an important week for Ukraine, stressing the need to intensify sanctions pressure against Russia.
Sybiha recalled the US sanctions targeting Russia’s energy sector and the EU’s 19th sanctions package, which focuses on Russia’s energy industry, shadow fleet, and sanction-evasion schemes.
He underlined that strengthening the army and intensifying sanctions are vital to increasing the cost of war for Russia.
