Kazakhstan and Italy discuss development of strategic partnership
Astana, September 17 (Hibya) - Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic Maria Tripodi.
Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Arman Issetov met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic Maria Tripodi, who arrived in Astana to attend the first meeting of the “B5+Italy” dialogue platform.
According to a statement by Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties noted the positive momentum in political dialogue and discussed prospects for the further development of the Kazakhstan-Italy strategic partnership. Particular attention was paid to expanding cooperation in trade, economic and investment areas.
Issetov emphasized Kazakhstan’s interest in implementing joint projects with Italian companies in areas such as industry, energy, transport and agriculture.
Tripodi, for her part, congratulated Kazakhstan on the successful holding of the Kurultay elections and highlighted the important role of parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening Kazakhstan-Italy relations. She reaffirmed Italy’s commitment to expanding practical cooperation with Kazakhstan and advancing new projects.
