Lahbib: Israel must allow full humanitarian access
Brussels, June 3 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, stated that Israel must allow full humanitarian access, emphasizing that a hungry person is not a target.
Lahbib said that people are being killed for a piece of bread and a drop of water.
She stated that the third deadly attack in recent days targeted people dying of hunger in Gaza, adding:
“Israel must allow full humanitarian access. Let UN partners work with real expertise. Impartially, independently, and according to humanitarian principles. A hungry person is not a target.”
