Lahbib: Education in crisis regions is more than just learning
Geneva, June 5 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib stated that education in crisis regions is more than just learning.
Commissioner Lahbib emphasized that education in crisis areas means hope, protection, and a path toward a better future.
She said the European Union invested 185 million euros in 2025 to ensure children can learn safely: “Because protecting their education is protecting our future.”
