Lahbib: North Macedonia is battling severe wildfires affecting the entire country
Brussels, July 29 (Hibya) – European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness, and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, stated that North Macedonia is battling severe wildfires that are affecting the entire country.
Lahbib noted that North Macedonia is facing wildfires impacting the whole nation.
She said that ground firefighting teams and an aircraft were offered to support response efforts. "We thank Austria, Czechia, France, and Slovenia for standing in solidarity with North Macedonia during this difficult time," she added.
