Lahbib thanks humanitarian aid teams
Brussels, July 18 (Hibya) - European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib praised the work of humanitarian aid teams operating in disaster and crisis areas.
European Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management Hadja Lahbib issued a statement on the work of the European Union Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection (ECHO) teams and humanitarian organizations.
Lahbib said that during every field visit, she witnesses the dedication of ECHO teams, the European Union Delegation to Venezuela, and humanitarian organizations in carrying out their missions.
She stressed that the teams who are the first to reach people in need and provide initial assistance work with great dedication, and that their efforts deserve recognition.
