Lahbib: Urgent action is the only path to progress
Brussels, September 15 (Hibya) – EU Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, Hadja Lahbib, announced that yesterday 80 tons of medical supplies were delivered to El Arish via the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge.
Commissioner Lahbib reported that thanks to the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), 80 tons of medical supplies were delivered to El Arish via the EU Humanitarian Air Bridge.
Highlighting that more than 5,000 tons of aid had been delivered to Gaza, Lahbib said: “This aid is important. But what really matters is that it reaches those who are suffering effectively. As needs intensify, silence is not an option. Urgent action is the only path to progress.”
