Lammy: The United Kingdom is focused on clean energy and nature protection goals
London, June 24 (Hibya) - UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy met with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres as part of London Climate Action Week.
UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy said he was pleased with the meeting he held with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at Kew Gardens.
Stating that climate change and sustainable development were discussed during the meeting held as part of London Climate Action Week, Lammy said, “What gives me confidence is seeing so many people focused on practical solutions.”
Referring to the United Kingdom’s priorities in this field, Lammy noted that they aim to support investments in clean energy, protect nature, and maintain economic growth throughout the green transition process.
