New York, April 28 (Hibya) – The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, stated that all parties to the conflict, including the State of Israel, must always comply with all their obligations under international law.

In his statement, Lazzarini said: "I welcome the hearing of the International Court of Justice regarding the presence and activities of the United Nations and other organizations in the occupied Palestinian territories. UNRWA and other agencies are present to meet the immense needs. The agency’s services must continue uninterrupted until a just and lasting solution is found to the plight of the Palestinian refugees."
