Leyen comments on the 30% customs tariff on EU exports
Brussels, July 12 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen made remarks regarding the imposition of a 30% customs tariff on European Union (EU) exports.
Leyen stated that imposing a 30% tariff on EU exports would harm businesses, consumers, and patients on both sides of the Atlantic.
She noted that efforts will continue to reach an agreement by August 1, and added that the EU is also ready to protect its interests.
