Mucunski: Good neighborliness does not mean tolerating provocations
Skopje, July 12 (Hibya) – North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Timčo Mucunski stated that the developments in the European Parliament are not merely about word choice, but represent a political act rejecting his country's national and state identity.
Mucunski said, “Good neighborly relations do not mean tolerating provocations.”
Participating in the Dubrovnik Forum at the invitation of Croatian Foreign Minister Gordan Grlić-Radman, Mucunski emphasized in his speech that there is no place for nationalism in Europe and that identity is not up for debate.
He noted that European integration must be predictable and accessible, and for the Western Balkans, this means more intensive dialogue, cooperation, and mutual support.
Mucunski also stressed that the countries of the region share a common responsibility for peace and stability, which can only be achieved through initiatives that foster consensus and resolve open issues.
