Leyen met with UK Prime Minister Starmer
Brussels, April 24 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
Leyen emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with the UK in the fields of energy, defense, and irregular migration.
In her statement, Ursula von der Leyen said: "We have great potential for more cooperation in the field of energy; the North Sea serves as our shared energy reserve. In defense and security, we have a committed partnership. And illegal migration, being a shared problem, requires shared solutions."
