Lula said, "There are places that have shaped our country's history. On the 16th, we will be where it all began. We will reconnect with our roots and renew our commitment to the future of our nation."
Noting that the event will begin at 9:00 a.m. on August 16 at Vila Euclides Stadium, Lula invited citizens to attend what he described as "a historic moment."
