Macron: We will continue to increase pressure on Russia
Paris, July 27 (Hibya) – French President Emmanuel Macron stated after meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that they will continue to increase pressure on Russia.
French President Macron made a statement following his meeting with Zelensky. Macron announced that France would continue its support for Ukraine and increase pressure on Russia. He added that Russia must finally accept a ceasefire that will pave the way for strong and lasting peace talks with the participation of Europeans.
Macron continued in his statement:
"We shared our belief that what distinguishes Ukraine from Russia today is that, despite the war, it remains a vibrant democracy and intends to continue on its path toward Europe."
