Berlin, September 17 (Hibya) – German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, citing the success of migration policy, pointed to the decrease in the number of asylum seekers.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated: “We can have more confidence in our country: it has become fashionable to accuse politicians of weakness – as a counterexample I will cite migration policy. The 60% year-on-year decrease in the number of asylum seekers in August speaks volumes.”
Merz emphasized that developments in migration policies could strengthen confidence within the country.
