Athens, April 25 (Hibya) - Greek Foreign Minister Giorgos Gerapetritis emphasized that the strategic partnership between the two countries is strengthening during an official dinner held in Athens as part of French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit.

Gerapetritis stated that the strategic partnership between Greece and France is strengthening not only diplomatically, but also in geopolitical and economic dimensions, saying: “We are entering a new era.”
Referring to the deep-rooted diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Greek Minister recalled that the 200th anniversary will be celebrated in three years, emphasizing that official relations began even before the founding of Greece.
Concluding his speech with the words “Long live France, long live Greece, long live Greek-French relations,” Gerapetritis expressed that cooperation between the two countries will deepen further.
