Message of Diplomacy and Regional Security from Qatar in Berlin
Doha, October 14 (Hibya) - Ibrahim bin Sultan Al-Hashemi, Director of the Media and Communication Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, attended a dialogue session organized by the Arabic Cultural House "Al Diwan" in Berlin, the capital of Germany.
During the session held on October 14, 2026, regional and international developments, as well as Qatar's diplomatic initiatives aimed at de-escalating tensions and ensuring security and stability in the region, were addressed.
Al-Hashemi stated that the strategic relations between Qatar and Germany are built on trust, mutual respect, and constructive cooperation. He noted that both countries continue coordination and consultations on regional and international issues.
Highlighting the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in light of ongoing developments and escalating tensions in the region, Al-Hashemi affirmed that Qatar relies on negotiations and peaceful means for resolving disputes.
Al-Hashemi emphasized that the expansion of conflicts necessitates prioritizing political solutions and intensifying diplomatic efforts, pointing out that addressing the root causes of crises is essential for establishing lasting security and stability.
