A military funeral was held for Major Abdullah Shamis Al Menhali and Lieutenant Saeed Abdullah Al Shamsi, who died during a training mission in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to a statement by the UAE Ministry of Defence, the military funeral ceremony was held at Zayed Military Hospital.

Major Abdullah Shamis Al Menhali and Lieutenant Saeed Abdullah Al Shamsi were reported to have died during a training mission on Monday, September 14, 2026.

Senior commanders and officers from the Ministry of Defence attended the ceremony, along with the families and relatives of the fallen soldiers.

The UAE Ministry of Defence extended its condolences to the families of the deceased soldiers and prayed that God envelop them in His mercy, grant them a place in paradise, and give their families and loved ones patience and comfort.
