Mixed performance across Asian stock markets
Istanbul, June 30 (Hibya) - Asia-Pacific markets showed a mixed performance on the first trading day of the week. Japanese and Shanghai stock markets advanced, while the Hong Kong, Australian and Indian indices declined.
Trading across Asia-Pacific markets was mixed. While some regional indices posted gains, others came under selling pressure.
Japan's Nikkei 225 Index rose 1.48 percent to 70,496.80 points. In China, the Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.20 percent to trade at 4,022.13 points.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 1.19 percent to 22,752.96 points. Australia's ASX 200 Index slipped 0.05 percent to 8,818.80 points, while India's Nifty 50 Index declined 0.33 percent to 23,866.50 points.
