Major currencies showed a mixed performance against the dollar in foreign exchange markets.

The euro/dollar pair fell 0.10 percent to 1.1319, while the pound/dollar pair declined 0.11 percent to 1.3250.

The dollar/yen pair rose 0.53 percent to 158.26. The dollar/Turkish lira rate also increased 0.06 percent to 49.0283.

The dollar/Swiss franc pair rose 0.14 percent to 0.8364, while the dollar/Canadian dollar pair gained 0.10 percent to 1.4247.

The euro/yen pair rose 0.144 percent to 179.13. The Australian dollar/dollar pair fell 0.01 percent to 0.6944, while the New Zealand dollar/dollar pair declined 0.21 percent to 0.5620.

The euro/pound pair traded at 0.8442, up 0.02 percent.
