Mostly positive movement in foreign exchange markets
Istanbul, September 22 (Hibya) – International foreign exchange markets were broadly dominated by buying during the week’s trading session. Many major currencies gained value, while the US dollar recorded a limited decline against the Canadian dollar.
The EUR/USD pair rose 0.1221 percent to 1.1476. The pound/dollar (GBP/USD) pair gained 0.13 percent to 1.3381, while the Australian dollar/US dollar (AUD/USD) pair rose 0.06 percent and traded at 0.7119.
The dollar/yen (USD/JPY) pair gained 0.06 percent to reach 157.46.
On the other hand, the dollar/Canadian dollar (USD/CAD) pair edged down 0.0641 percent to 1.4023.
