NATO: Maritime security activities continue in the Black Sea
Brussels, April 6 (Hibya) – NATO Maritime Command announced that the MCM Task Group, formed with the participation of Bulgaria, Türkiye and Romania, continues its activities in the Black Sea.
NATO Maritime Command (MARCOM) stated that the MCM Black Sea Task Group, formed with the participation of Bulgaria, Türkiye and Romania, plays an important role in enhancing maritime security in the Black Sea and strengthening regional cooperation.
In the statement, it was noted that allied navies operate together, reinforcing freedom of navigation, increasing interoperability and supporting collective defense.
It was also stated that, within the scope of the mission, mine countermeasure activities, maritime situational awareness operations, replenishment at sea and complex maneuver exercises are being carried out.
