Netanyahu: I have decided to appoint Ezra as Head of the National Security Council
Jerusalem, May 31 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appointed Shmuel Ben Ezra as Head of the National Security Council and National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a new appointment within the national security framework.
Sharing the appointment decision and Ben Ezra's previous achievements, Netanyahu stated: "I have decided to appoint Shmuel Ben Ezra as Head of the National Security Council and National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister."
Netanyahu added: "Shmuel has more than 30 years of experience in security, technology, and cyber fields. He led the development of the 'Arrow 3' system, which won the Israel Security Prize, and served as Head of the Operations and Cyber Technology Division at the Shin Bet."
Referring to the contributions the new chairman is expected to make, Netanyahu said: "With his groundbreaking mindset, extensive international experience, and deep familiarity with national security issues, he will help us strengthen Israel's security and advance it as a global technology power."
