Netanyahu: We lit our first candle
Jerusalem, December 15 (Hibya) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu lit the first Hanukkah candle at the National Police Academy.
Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife lit the first Hanukkah candle during a ceremony held at the National Police Academy. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and his wife Ayala, as well as Israel Police Commissioner Danny Levy, also attended.
Speaking at the ceremony, Netanyahu said: “We lit our first candle. First Gaza, then Lebanon, followed by Syria, Iraq, and most importantly Iran… In those days and today, no one believed in miracles, but we did. You should believe too.”
Netanyahu continued: “I want to congratulate our police officers. Keep the faith, protect yourselves and one another. On behalf of the people of Israel across generations, thank you very much. Happy Hanukkah.”
