President Zelensky issued a message on the occasion of the beginning of Hanukkah. He said: “These days, Hanukkah candles marking the start of the holiday are being lit. These moments carry deep meaning, especially during wartime. A light that does not go out in the darkness. Faith that helps people endure. The unity of people who support one another in difficult times.”

Zelensky continued: “May the lights of Hanukkah bring warmth and peace to every Jewish family’s home, granting strength and faith, support and a sense of calm. We extend our greetings to Jewish communities in Ukraine and to all Jews on the occasion of Hanukkah.”
