Pakistan and Bangladesh discuss cooperation on women's empowerment
Islamabad, July 14 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar met in Islamabad with Bangladesh's Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare, A. Z. M. Zahid Hossain. The meeting focused on women's empowerment and enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

According to a statement issued by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dar received Hossain, who is in Pakistan to attend the 9th Ministerial Conference on Women of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and expressed his satisfaction with Bangladesh's participation in the conference.
Recalling his visit to Dhaka in August last year, Dar stated that Pakistan is ready to further strengthen its bilateral relations with Bangladesh.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in various fields, particularly trade, education, social welfare, and people-to-people relations.
