Pakistan FM Dar holds call with UN Secretary-General Guterres
Islamabad, July 13 (Hibya) – Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar held a phone call with United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
According to the statement, during Pakistan’s presidency of the UN Security Council for the month of July, Dar reiterated Pakistan’s strong commitment to international peace and security and the peaceful resolution of conflicts.
He also highlighted the Signature Events organized by Pakistan to advance these objectives during its presidency.
Both leaders expressed anticipation for meeting in New York next week as part of the activities related to Pakistan’s UN Security Council Presidency.
