Pakistani Foreign Minister Dar met with his Kuwaiti counterpart Al-Yahya
Islamabad, August 16 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Abdullah Al-Yahya.
According to a statement from Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Dar held a meeting with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Al-Yahya.
The statement said:
"The Kuwaiti Foreign Minister conveyed the condolences of Crown Prince Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah over the tragic loss of lives and damage caused by the floods in northern Pakistan. He affirmed that the Kuwaiti government and the brotherly Kuwaiti people are ready to provide all possible support to the people of Pakistan in this difficult time.
The Prime Minister/Foreign Minister expressed appreciation for Kuwait’s solidarity. Both leaders stated that they look forward to meeting later this month in Jeddah at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Partnership Summit."
