Pezeshkian: Sudden detentions of producers have been halted
Tehran, November 21 (Hibya) – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that sudden detentions of producers and entrepreneurs have been stopped as a result of cooperation with the judiciary.
Pezeshkian stated that in the past, some entrepreneurs—particularly on Thursdays—were detained and kept in prison for two days, which he said was intended as a form of psychological pressure. Emphasizing that producers are not people who flee and that such methods harm production motivation, he added: “We followed this issue closely, and under Mr. Ejei’s directive, sudden detentions were halted within the framework of cooperation between economic actors and the courts.”
Pezeshkian added that this is an important example of coordination and cooperation among state institutions.
