Meeting with Singapore’s Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that “today’s security challenges make cooperation with countries that share similar values ever more important, regardless of distance,” emphasizing that they see great potential for working with Singapore in science, education, digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and new technologies.

Tsahkna highlighted that upholding the fundamental principles of international law requires that all states, big or small, have an equal voice on the global stage, adding that he was pleased to reaffirm this shared vision.
