A phone conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov.

Putin conveyed the main outcomes of his meeting with U.S. President’s Special Envoy Steven Witkoff, as well as the planned meeting with Donald Trump in Alaska.

Sadyr Japarov welcomed the development of Russian-American dialogue and the steps taken towards a political and diplomatic resolution of the Ukraine crisis.

The conversation also addressed current issues of bilateral cooperation in trade and economic sectors.

Additionally, cooperation within integration alliances, including the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which Kyrgyzstan chairs this year, was discussed.
