Ukrainian Foreign Minister Sybiha met with Swedish Foreign Minister Maria M. Stenergard.

Sybiha said that the meeting focused on the latest diplomatic developments, adding: “I provided information about the situation on the battlefield and Ukraine’s position on the path towards a just and lasting peace.”

He stated that they are coordinating efforts to further strengthen Ukraine and reinforce transatlantic unity, saying:

“We agree that the outcome of the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine will determine not only Ukraine’s future but also the future of global stability. We are grateful to Sweden for its comprehensive support and resolute solidarity in defending our common values and European security.”
