According to a statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu received the credentials of Qatar's non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Maldives, Hamad bin Mohammed Al Dosari.

The ministry stated that Ambassador Al Dosari conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to President Muizzu.

President Muizzu also asked Ambassador Al Dosari to convey his greetings and best wishes to the Amir of Qatar and expressed his hopes for continued prosperity and progress for both countries.
