Secretary-General of Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi received a copy of the credentials of the Republic of Malta's Ambassador to Qatar, Maria Camilleri Calleja.

According to a statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Al Hammadi congratulated the new ambassador during the reception ceremony held in Doha and wished her success in her new assignment.

Secretary-General Al Hammadi affirmed that Qatar is ready to provide the ambassador with every possible support to further develop the existing bilateral relations between Qatar and Malta across various fields and to strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting also included expressions of hope for further enhancing the friendly relations between Qatar and Malta and advancing bilateral cooperation.
