Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to a statement by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria, Prime Minister Rumen Radev answered journalists' questions following parliamentary oversight in the National Assembly and shared details about his meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

Prime Minister Radev emphasized that Bulgaria and Türkiye share common interests in expanding transport, energy, and digital connectivity, issues that are of significant importance to the entire region. The meeting reportedly addressed the strategic roles of both countries in energy supply, source diversification, and security for Central and Eastern European countries, as well as the broad scope of bilateral cooperation.

Radev stated that discussions focused on projects aimed at strengthening energy and transport connections between the two countries, including increasing the capacity of border crossings and constructing a new railway line that would run from Edirne through Elhovo, Lesovo, and Yambol. He noted that the agreement signed with BOTAŞ is also part of this process.

Radev added that the Turkish side seeks to deepen cooperation not only in natural gas but also in electricity transmission. He said that expert groups from both countries are currently continuing their work and that the results will be presented to the public once the studies are completed.
