Washington, May 1 (Hibya) – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with France’s Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Jean-Noël Barrot.
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a meeting with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot.
Rubio stated that “a strong America seeks peace, not endless war,” adding, “We met with Minister Barrot to advance Trump’s goal of ending the bloodshed in Ukraine and achieving a just and lasting peace. We agreed that Europe must invest more in its own defense and emphasized that American industry must not be overlooked in Europe’s rearmament process.”
