Rubio: Visiting the U.S. with a visa is a privilege
Washington, June 3 (Hibya) – U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that steps have been taken to impose visa restrictions on Central American government officials responsible for Cuban medical mission programs.
Secretary Rubio said the United States is serious about promoting accountability for those involved in the forced labor and exploitation of Cuban healthcare workers.
“Visiting the United States with a visa is a privilege,” Rubio said, adding that the State Department has taken steps to impose visa restrictions on officials involved in Cuban medical mission programs.
