Saar: I will work for other countries to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan
Majdal Shams, August 12 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar announced that he met with local authority heads in the region following Colombia's decision to recognize Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights and that he would work for other countries to take similar steps.

The meeting also addressed strengthening settlement and construction activities in the Golan Heights. Saar said work in this area had been secured during the terms of the last two governments through coalition agreements and government decisions.
