Saar: We will continue strengthening relations with South Sudan
Jerusalem, July 29 (Hibya) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar met with South Sudan’s Foreign Minister Monday Semaya Kumba.
Foreign Minister Saar hosted Minister Kumba in Jerusalem.
Thanking South Sudan for its support for Israel, Saar stated: “I highlighted the hypocrisy of the international community, which ignores the long-standing humanitarian crisis and suffering in Sudan, also affecting South Sudan.”
Saar emphasized that relations with South Sudan will continue to strengthen, adding: “Despite its significant support for Sudanese refugees, South Sudan receives no aid or recognition.”
