Uzbek Foreign Minister Bahtiyor Saidov said he was pleased to meet with Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Yermek Kosherbayev, noting the high level of strategic partnership and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.

Emphasizing that the close and trust-based dialogue between the leaders of the two countries provides a solid foundation for the consistent development of cooperation in all areas, Saidov, after discussing the current issues on the bilateral agenda, stressed the importance of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level in a timely and high-quality manner.

Referring to the scope of the meeting, Saidov said, "We also exchanged views on our cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), as well as on current regional and international issues."
