Istanbul, July 16 (Hibya) – Selling pressure dominated trading across Asian markets during the day. While indexes declined across most regional exchanges, the sharp drop in the South Korean market drew attention.

The Kospi index fell 6.84% to 6,785.81 points. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 declined 2.86% to 66,783.75 points.
In Chinese markets, the Shanghai index fell 0.82% to 3,923.203, while the Shenzhen index dropped 0.83% to 14,657.066 points.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 1.93% to 25,157.56 points. India's Nifty 50 gained 0.17%, Thailand's SETI advanced 0.20%, and the Malaysian stock market added 0.67%.
Australia's ASX 200 fell 0.23%, Singapore's STI declined 0.53%, and New Zealand's NZX 50 slipped 0.10%. Taiwan's benchmark index also fell 0.10%.
Investors in Asian markets continued pricing in expectations regarding the global economic outlook and regional developments.
