Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa drew attention to the recent changes in Syria, saying, "We have achieved a major success. As President Trump also said, I believe that within a year and a half we have accomplished a great deal by unifying the country and putting it on the path of progress."

Al-Sharaa stated that this process had been made possible by the strength of the Syrian people, adding that President Trump had also emphasized this point.

The Syrian President said that the Trump administration's decision to lift sanctions had played a significant role, stating, "President Trump's historic decision to lift the sanctions has played a major role."

Al-Sharaa also referred to the support of regional countries, noting that the assistance provided by friendly nations, especially Türkiye, had contributed to Syria's reconstruction process.

Ahmed al-Sharaa concluded by saying, "The entire Syrian people thank President Trump. I am proud of him."
