Starmer: Digital ID system will save time and costs
London, October 24 (Hibya) – UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer stated that the digital ID system will simplify citizens’ processes and provide economic benefits.
In a post on social media, Starmer referred to a recent conversation with a person who was about to buy a house: “He told me he had to pay to verify his identity. With a digital ID system, this process could take just seconds, and such costs would be eliminated.”
Prime Minister Starmer emphasized that the implementation of digital ID would save both time and money, adding that the government’s digitalization efforts aim to make citizens’ lives easier.
