Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko hosted European Parliament President Roberta Metsola at the Ukrainian Government Center.

Svyrydenko expressed gratitude for the decision to establish a permanent European Parliament representation in Kyiv, calling it a step toward deepening partnership, leadership, and efforts to ensure stable support from the European Parliament.

She noted discussions on Ukraine’s EU accession process and preparations for opening negotiation clusters, emphasizing the importance of the EU’s commitment to support and finance Ukraine’s defense production, particularly expanding drone manufacturing and strengthening industrial infrastructure. “This is vital not only for Ukraine but also for Europe’s overall security,” Svyrydenko said.

She thanked Metsola for her frankness and personal dedication in providing comprehensive support to Ukraine.
