Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha emphasized the importance of maintaining diplomatic contacts between the two countries and the recent high-level dialogues.

Sharing his assessment of the content and basis of the meeting, Sybiha said: “I had the opportunity to meet with my Georgian counterpart Maka Botchorishvili at the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers Meeting.”

Sybiha noted that the meeting was part of previous leader-level contacts, stating: “Our meeting was a direct continuation of the recent dialogue between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held on the sidelines of the European Political Community Summit.”
