Sybiha met with Blanar
Uzhhorod, 5 September (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha discussed regional energy security and infrastructure projects with Slovakian Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar during the leaders' meeting in Uzhhorod.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with Slovakian Foreign Minister Juraj Blanar during the leaders' meeting in Uzhhorod.
During the meeting, the topics of creating a railway connection between Uzhhorod, Slovakia, and other European Union (EU) countries according to European standards, as well as the implementation of energy and infrastructure projects, were discussed.
Sybiha and Blanar also discussed regional energy security and Slovakia’s support to Ukrainian children within the framework of the Slovak Civil Defense Shelter Coalition. Sybiha emphasized that the Ukraine-Slovakia neighborhood is important not only for the two countries but for all of Europe, and that Ukraine's EU membership will strengthen this cooperation.
Sybiha also had an important phone call with Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel and congratulated UK Deputy Prime Minister David Lammy on his appointment as UK Foreign Minister and Yvette Cooper.
